There’s no doubt about it, the NFL is dragging their feet on purpose.  But that’s not why he’s a free agent.

Brown’s a free agent because he couldn’t control himself.  He had to send threatening texts messages to one of his accusers. 

That’s why he was released by New England and remains a free agent.
