Pelicans star Anthony Davis wore a statement shirt to his final game of the season, and most likely his final game as a New Orleans Pelican.
He rocked the ‘That’s All Folks’ shirt, which was his way of signifying the end of his time with the Pelicans.
Now he’s saying it wasn’t him.
When asked why he wore the t-shirt, Davis told reporters:
“I didn’t choose it. I actually didn’t choose it. It was hanging for me already when I put my clothes on.”
Pressed further, the 26-year old All Star continued:
“Every night. Every night Big Shot lays out what I’m gonna wear to the game.” He added, with a smile, “I have no control over that. I just put it on.”
Anthony Davis says he has no control over his clothes. Someone lays clothes out for every game & he just puts them on. #pelicans pic.twitter.com/FtXnhBVY8b

Saying you have no control over what clothes you wear is laughable.
And just imagine someone laying out his clothes for him.
That could be one of the worst excuses ever recorded, right up there with ‘My Dog ate my Homework’
New Orleans suffered a 112-103 loss to the Golden State Warriors, bringing their season to a close with a record of 33-49.
