Pitcher Matt Harvey’s time with the Angels is off to a fantastic start. In his first week with his new team, the often injured right-hander is already dealing with an injury.
Reports are that Harvey strained a glute muscle doing agility drills.
Brad Ausmus said Matt Harvey strained a glute muscle during agility drills yesterday. Will be down for about 10 days but the injury shouldn’t set him back for too long. #Angels

That has to be a good sign, right? Harvey signed a one-year, $11 million deal as a free agent this off-season. If certain incentives are reached the deal could pay up to $14 million.
So far the deal is proving to be money well spent. The Angels must really like paying guys to rehab.
