The Bengals announced the benching of quarterback Andy Dalton on Tuesday. Not only was it the Red Rifle’s 32nd birthday, it was the day of NFL’s trade deadline.
The fact that Cincinnati waited until Tuesday to bench Dalton made it almost impossible for a willing trade partner to materialize. That didn’t sit well with the veteran QB.
Dalton isn’t happy with the benching and wishes he was traded prior to the deadline.
