Shortly after the news broke Andre Drummond took to social media and reassured Pistons fans that he wasn’t going anywhere. A possible reference to being the center of trade talks throughout Van Gundy’s tenure.

Drummond would later take to Twitter and formally thank his former coach for everything he put into the team over the past four years. His true feeling he kept in his Instagram story.
Would like to take a min to wish Stan the best and thank you for everything you’ve put into our team the last four years. @DetroitPistons
