MMA legend Anderson Silva lost another fight due to a leg injury. The 44-year-old took a kick from Jared Cannonier at the end of the first round at UFC 237 and immediately went down in pain
Silva barely avoided a vicious ground and pound thanks to Herb Dean, who noticed he was injured. After the fight was stopped Silva grabbed his right knee and appeared to be hurt badly.

Silva was able to make it to his feet and limp around the octagon before requiring assitance to make it back to his dressing room. The initial thoughts were he suffered a torn ACL, although that hasn’t been confirmed.

What was confirmed was the fact that the once dominant fighter needs to hang it up. He hasn’t won a fight since 2013. Dana White needs to sit Silva down and explain to him his fighting days in the UFC are over.
