An Unfortunate Injury Update on A.J. Green

Adam Schefter reports that A.J. Green tore multiple ligaments in his ankle, which may set him back around two months.

Per Schefter, the team does not expect Green ready for week one against the Seattle Seahawks.

An MRI revealed that Bengals’ WR A.J. Green has torn ligaments in his left ankle that is likely to sideline him six to eight weeks, source tells ESPN. Green is not expected to be ready for the regular-season opener at Seattle.

Green is in the final year of his contract, and there was some debate about what the Bengals would do with Green.

Now they’ll do nothing until he can prove to be healthy.
