Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo, who lives in Parkland, addressed the home fans at the end of a 17 minute tribute to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas victims.
During his emotional pre-game speech Luongo praised the teachers, showed compassion for those who died and called for action saying, “enough was enough.”
Not a bad tribute for a guy who gets paid to be tough.
An emotional Roberto Luongo addresses the home crowd prior to tonight's game, saying he is inspired by how the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas have responded after the school shooting last Wednesday. #MSDStrong #NHL #FlaPanthers #OneTerritory pic.twitter.com/KV1ERJvr7l
