Indiana’s baseball season came to an end on Sunday night with the help of a terrible strike three call in the 9th inning. The Hoosiers had the bases loaded with one out in the 9th inning down by a run when this happened.
Come on. This is inexcusable at little league even. And this is a season-changing moment. pic.twitter.com/CSEuF0meFS

A strike three call on a pitch that was on the chalk of the other batter’s box. How is this called a strike in that situation? What an absurd call.
Props to the batter to not flip out on this umpire and beat him with his bat. He was well within his right to do so. No jury in the country would convict him if they saw that call on tape.
That’s a terrible way to have your bases loaded rally killed. Hopefully it was also the end of the season for the umpire.
