Smith suffered one of the most grueling injuries in recent NFL memory when he broke his leg in Week 11 of the 2018 season.
He was forced to spend four week in the hospital, combating an infection that required multiple surgeries to fix.

The 2005 first overall pick is hoping to make a return in the 2020 season after going through a ridiculous amount of surgeries.
According to the Washington Times, Smith told doctors he had a total of 17 surgeries.
