The Red Sox are celebrating their 2018 World Series victory on Wednesday with a parade through the streets of Boston. When it came time for manager Alex Cora to speak to the crowd he did so with a memorable line.
Cora made sure to take a swipe at the Yankees while telling the doubters to “suck on it.”

108 wins, a World Series title and now this. That’s quite the first year as a manager for Alex Cora.
Telling people to suck on it is a pretty good exclamation point to winning a championship, especially if you can bring up your rival, who you beat to start the postseason run.
You can bet that not much is getting done in the city of Boston today. They’re in the streets celebrating.
“Fastball, fastball, fastball, slider. And now we’re the World Champions.” 🙌
