Albert Pujols went deep twice during the Angels 11-2 win over the Mariners. The second home run put him in a tie for sixth place on the all-time home run list with Ken Griffey Jr.
The 38 year old is just 30 homers behind Willie Mays at number five. He’s well within reach. He has three years left on his contract following this season
Pujols is at a point in his career where he’s just adding to his already impressive hall of fame worthy career. The 700 club might be a little too far, but the 600 club is still quite the accomplishment.
