Here’s a pretty interesting story.
Tyler Lockett has some Airbnb problems.
The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver recently booked a rental through the popular travel site and just one week before his stay, the host canceled.
Why did he cancel?
According to Lockett, it was because he was overqualified.
I booked this Airbnb. And this man responded and said why are you staying at my house. Basically your overqualified and canceled my request.

So after accepting my request. He cancels it and says he thinks I should spend my money on higher end houses cause of my net worth………
Wow

And we are a week away from our trip…. @Airbnb y’all gotta give me credit on my next house or something. Now we screwed out of a house. We probably gotta get a hotel now

From the looks of Lockett’s last tweet, Airbnb remedied the situation.
Airbnb took care of it!!!!!!! https://t.co/4N8lCEVOWQ

Lockett had a monster year in 2018, and he signed a three-year, $31.8 million contract extension that will keep him in Seattle through 2021.
Clearly he can afford pretty much anything, but it appears he’s being smart with his money.
No one ever went broke by spending less than they should.
