Peterson, 33 years old, became the oldest player with a 90-yard touchdown run in NFL history. At the time, it gave Washington a 10-7 lead.

The scoring run also tied him with Jim Brown for fifth place on the all-time list with 106 rushing touchdowns.
All gas no brakes. Career-long touchdown for @AdrianPeterson.
He has the most rushing touchdowns of 50 yards or more in NFL history and is now tied with Jim Brown on the all-time rushing touchdown list.#WASvsPHI | #HTTR pic.twitter.com/L8ZErt8WTP

Peterson also became the oldest player with multiple 50-yard touchdown runs this season.
He ran 64 yards for a touchdown against the New York Giants in Week 8.
But the long run did not lead to a great night, as Peterson finished with 98 yards on nine carries.
Hard to hate on Peterson for his night, but you have to do more.
Home runs or strike outs don’t work when you’re an NFL running back.
