The Jets finished the season in third place in the AFC East with a 7-9 record. It was the first season under head coach Adam Gase, who apparently did enough to make it to year two.
On Monday, Gase was asked whether or not Le’Veon Bell would make it to year two with the Jets. It was a question he clearly didn’t want to answer. So he didn’t.
Gase reportedly isn’t a fan of Bell’s running style or the contract he received before the season. He directed all questions about Bell to general manager Joe Douglas.

This will only help to fuel the rumors that the Jets will attempt to trade Bell during the offseason. He only ran for 789 yards and three touchdowns in Gase’s offense.
