Umpire Joe West is approaching the most games worked by an umpire. He worked his 5,164th game on Wednesday and celebrated the occasion at a steakhouse in Minnesota.
The steakhouse was prepared for their guest and handed West a braille menu to place his order with. It’s a pretty good prank, but there is a also ton of truth behind it.

Despite working that many games, West is among one of the worst umpires currently in the MLB.
The most surprising part of the story just might be that he didn’t confront the waiter who handed it to him. West loves confronting players that disagree with his terrible calls.
