Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is expected to return from the Lisfranc injury in his foot in the next couple of weeks. When he does return it could be as the backup.
This development has opened up a “robust trade market” with as many as ten teams reportedly interested in trading for Newton. A trade might not be that farfetched.
Some in the league are saying that the Panthers don’t think Cam has much left.
