Tim Tebow’s terrible year at Triple-A continues. On Tuesday night he was struckout by a position player.
First baseman and outfielder Jordan Patterson took the mound for the first time as a pro and struckout the former quarterback looking.
What the headlines don’t tell you is that Patterson wasn’t tossing 75 mph batting practice. He was bringing the heat and strike three was clocked at 88 mph.

88 on the corner is nothing to sneeze at. That’s legit minor league velocity and the fact that Tebow was struckout by a position player bringing heat isn’t as big of a knock on him as it seems.
