Panthers quarterback Cam Newton wants to be back in Carolina next season, the team won’t give a definitive answer when asked if he will be back. The latest to not give an answer when asked about Cam is general manager Marty Hurney, “he’s rehabbing, that’s all I can say.”
Newton’s name has been tossed around quite a bit in possible trade scenarios involving the Panthers and teams in need of a quarterback. According to NFL insider Matt Miller, one team in need of a quarterback has recently reached out to the Panthers about a trade for Newton.
