Just two days after Creekside (Ga.) three-star cornerback Rashad Battle, Maryland lost another key pledge while trailing Ohio State 42-0 at halftime when DeMatha (Md.) three-star offensive guard Jordan White reopened his recruitment.

White was the first commitment of the recruiting cycle thanks to his relationship with assistant coach Elijah Brooks, who coached him for two years at DeMatha.

He bought in early to Michael Locksley’s message and opted for the hometown school among his seven verbal offers.
