Bengals receiver A.J. Green underwent surgery on his ankle on Tuesday, just a few days after fracturing it during practice. Prior to the surgery there was hope that he would be able to recover in time to play week 1 of the regular season.
Following Green’s surgery those hopes were gone. According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Green is now expected to miss multiple games.
