Freak injuries are a big thing in Major League Baseball. Players have missed time for injuring themselves sneezing, taking off their shoes and sleepwalking to name a few.
Add Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez to the list of baseball players that suffered freak injuries. He won’t be in the starting lineup and will miss 4-6 weeks after tearing his MCL when he slipped carrying his luggage.

Clearly baseball players need to be treated like their made of glass. Don’t let them do anything off the field, including carrying their own luggage.
