76ers owner Michael Rubin decided to take a shot at former Panthers owner Jerry Richardson. He did so on Bill Simmons’ podcast on Tuesday.
Rubin called Richardson, who was forced to sell the team he founded after several inappropriate workplace incidents were revealed, a “really bad owner” who was bad for the NFL.
The shots at the former owner weren’t exactly out of leftfield. When Richardson put the team up for sale, Rubin was one of the people interested in buying the franchise.
So Rubin appears to be a little salty about not being the mega-rich guy selected to purchase the team.
