Roger Clemens took the mound at the Texas alumni game on Saturday. The 7-time Cy Young Award winner showed off some of what made him one of the most dominant pitchers of his era.
Clemens sat at 84-85 MPH and could still throw his curveball and splitter. The 56-year-old Rocket still has it.
A look at @rogerclemens at the @TexasBaseball Alumni game. Sat 84-85 and still spun the curveball well in upper 70s and the splitter was diving. A possible @FlatgroundApp comeback? pic.twitter.com/T8OIPJx8CR

Clemens was joined by two of his son’s who are now in the minor leagues and played at Texas. His sons wore the uniforms of the organizations they currently play for and Clemens went with a Red Sox jersey.

The 🚀’s still got it, but he wasn’t happy about the Horns bunting on him. @rogerclemens 😂 #HookEm pic.twitter.com/6ylMyGDBB1

It’s good to see the Rocket is still on the juice. We don’t want our Roger Clemens any other way.
