Former South Carolina receiver Deebo Samuel had a very good rookie season for the 49ers. He hauled in 57 catches for 802 yards and three touchdowns.
Samuel even set a Super Bowl record in his first year in the NFL. He rushed for the most yards, 53, by a receiver in the loss to the Chiefs.
Despite his strong season, his former head coach in college Will Muschamp had one negative thing to say about Samuel. He tends to put on a little extra weight in the offseason.
