The 49ers have traded defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the Colts for a first-round draft pick. San Francisco needed an early round pick and Indianapolis needed defensive line help.
The Colts wasted no time in signing Buckner to a new deal reportedly worth $21 million a year. That makes him the second highest paid defensive tackle behind the Rams Aaron Donald.
