49ers offensive linemen Mike McGlinchey and Joe Staley performed a Backstreet Boys song the team’s annual “Players for a Purpose” event hosted by the 49ers Foundation. The event raises money for Bay Area youth empowerment and education.
The tackles stole the show and could probably win a few karaoke events if they chose to do so. It wasn’t better than the original, but more a couple of men well over 300 pounds, it wasn’t bad.
This isn’t their first time performing this song. Back in June they teamed up for what appears to be an alcohol fueled version of the song at a bar.
Saw this video on Facebook of Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey singing. This was too good not to tweet. #49ers pic.twitter.com/utuUCYEaw9
