Sherman revealed that C.J. Beathard strained his back yesterday on scout team trying to play the role of Russell Wilson.

The 49ers better hope they don’t end up needing Beathard. That means Jimmy G is out of the game for some reason, and they’re likely in trouble, but if Beathard is hurt then he might not be able to go either.
