44 year old Ichiro Suzuki is reportedly close to signing a one year deal to return to the Seattle Mariners.  The Japanese outfielder made his MLB debut with the Mariners back in 2001.

Ichiro appeared in 136 games for the Miami Marlins last season.  He only made 196 plate appearances and hit .255 with 3 homeruns and 20 RBIs.

Some guys don’t know when to hang them up.  It’s a few years past that point for Ichiro.
