The NBA officially suspended the 2019-20 NBA season on Wednesday night after Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
There were already some games taking place in the Eastern time zone at the time of the announcement, so they finished their games.

One of those games was between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks, and after the news broke that the season is now suspended the Hawks put Vince Carter into the game and he hit one last three-pointer before the buzzer.
After the game he spoke about the possibility about playing his final game in the NBA.
