An unnamed Heat player had a medical emergency on the team’s flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles on Thursday night. A team spokesman would not name the player due to medical confidentiality laws.
The Heat beat the Suns on Thursday and are taking on the Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday. Dion Waiters, Derrick Jones Jr., Justise Winslow and KZ Okpala were all listed as out for Friday’s game.
